Our Approach
Through a process of common-sense strategic planning, Here’s to Life Now! (HTLN) works with employees to set achievable wellness goals, connect to health & wellness resources, and keep employees motivated to make life-style changes for optimal health. Our strong measurement and evaluation component provides employers with important return-on-investment data and gives employees information about their successes, challenges, and needs for further action in a fun, guilt-free, supportive environment.
Our Framework

Creating the Health & Wellness Plan

In a workshop setting of up to 12 employees, participants are guided through a series of steps that lead to the completion of a comprehensive one-year health and wellness plan with measurable results. The planning process focuses on the nine areas included above in the HTLN framework. Each of these areas can be a source of strength or stress in a person’s life and contribute to or detract from optimal health and wellness. Individuals reflect on where they are today, where they want to be in one-year, how they will get there, obstacles they might encounter and how to overcome these, and resources they’ll need to achieve their goals. The planning can be done one-on-one, but a group setting creates the opportunity for people to share experiences and HTLN finds participants feel validated by others’ experiences and positive reinforcement and are more motivated to achieve goals they’ve set for themselves.
Connections to Resources to Put the Plan into ACTION

Once the plan is in place, it’s time to take action before momentum is lost! HTLN connects employees to resources needed to achieve their goals in two ways:
1. Increase knowledge of and access to the company’s health plan benefits; and/or
2. Connect employees via the easy-to-navigate HTLN online network of recommended health & wellness practitioners.
Ongoing Support is Key to Behavior and Life Style Change

Ongoing support is critical to success. Having a plan and accessible resources is a start, but having a place to share results and expand options is invaluable. Ongoing monitoring of workshop participants includes a variety of online, on-site and teleconferencing activities.
Evaluation

HTLN can provide biometric screening for: body mass index; blood pressure; cholesterol (HDL and LDL); blood glucose; and screening for stress/depression at the beginning and end of the program. HTLN will track behavior change among employees at regular intervals and measure how this affects these indices and translates to cost savings for the company and ROI.
